The purpose of this course is to investigate and clarify the relationship between nutrition and human performance. The focus will include a study of the following areas: nutrition, energy value of food, metabolic rates, calorimetry, body composition, aerobic and anaerobic power, physiological conditioning and nutritional requirements. Does not meet the physical education requirements for completion of an Associate of Arts degree.
