Designed to introduce the student to the area of Forensic Science and the use of the crime laboratory. The course will also concern itself with the various types of evidence and how the crime lab processes them. It covers the proper collection of evidence and its handling, which includes proper packing and mailing procedures required by the crime lab. The student will also be introduced to such scientific techniques as toxicology and questioned document analysis.
