Study and application of the knowledge and skills necessary to upgrade from a First Responder to an EMT-Basic. The curriculum is based on the U.S. Department of Transportation Standards for Emergency Medicine for EMTs. The course will include all skills to qualify for the EMT Basic Certification in the State of Nebraska. Passing the National Registry of Emergency Technicians in required for certification. Student must have current certification as a First Responder.
