This Valmont level I mechanized irrigation system course is designed for second semester freshman irrigation students who will intern with a Valley Irrigation Dealer during the summer session between their freshman and sophomore year. Information that will be covered will include: the theory of circle pivot operation, how electricity works in a center pivot irrigation system, and the use of meters and schematics in troubleshooting electrical center pivot problems.
