The Valley Communication System course is designed for the fourth semester sophomore irrigation students who have completed a cooperative internship with a Valley Irrigation Dealer. Information that will be covered will include: the theory of remote control and monitoring operation, electrical and structural components used in a communications system, the basic electrical circuits and schematics, field installation/setup, troubleshooting and fault finding procedures.
