3 Credits, 3 Class Hours An introductory course for students having little or no background in physics. Students are introduced to a variety of topics including motion, energy, fluids, electric circuits, optics, and waves. Intended to prepare engineering technology students to be successful in PHYS 2010 and 2020 and to provide a physical science elective without a lab for all students. Course does not transfer. Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra
