Topics include major literary themes, historical/social events that influenced the writers, literary terminology, characteristics of literature, interpretation of literature, and analysis of composition and major literary themes. Prerequisites: ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020. Note: ENGL 2020 meets the requirement for a Humanities elective. This course is part of the general education core.
