3 Credits, 3 Class Hours An introductory medical transcription course utilizing the body system approach to transcribe dictated medical records. Topics include a reinforcement of medical terminology and English language skills; appropriate formatting and production of medical documents and reports, including history and physical, radiology, operative, consultant, autopsy, and other medical reports. An emphasis is placed on accuracy. Prerequisites: BIOL 1000 and AIS 1181 with a grade of "C" or higher
