Topics include basic elements of religion and strategies for recognizing patterns of similarity and divergence among different religions, and the origins, development, and fundamental beliefs and practices of Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Jainism, Sikhism, Shinto, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, among others. Prerequisites: DSPW 0800 and DSPR 0800 or equivalent skills This course is part of the general education core.
