3 Credits, 3 Class Hours Investigates computer concepts and addresses emerging trends in computer technology. Stresses the latest computer security methods and procedures for maintaining a secure personal or business computing environment for both wireless and wired networks. Team-based projects research and design networks that meet government standards, including servers, firewalls and protecting connected communications nodes from intrusion. (Experienced industry professionals may be enrolled without prerequisites pending permission by CPT faculty.) Prerequisite: CPT 2430, CPT 1510
