4 Credits, 4 Class Hours First of two courses developed to prepare students to solve real world networking problems. Students will work individually and in teams to solve problems presented by the case studies. Topics include the review of DOS concepts and commands as well as work with a variety of other operating systems, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Ethernet networks using Virtualization, and also build servers and workstations using various operating systems. Major emphasis will be placed on teamwork and leadership. This course is based on the re-design and implementation of a real world company network. Prerequisite CNT 1160 and CNT 2350
