The emphasis is on problem solving using the language and principles of structured software development. The topics covered (including the language syntax) are, simple data structures such as arrays and strings, pointers, pointer arithmetic, arrays and pointers, functions, function overloading, function parameters, return types, structures and unions, and C based I/O.
