3 Credits, 3 Class Hours An advanced level course designed to familiarize the student with elements of the Standard Plumbing Code, Mechanical Codes, and National Electrical Code. Topics include plumbing, mechanical and electrical symbols approved for drawings; definitions; minimum facilities; abbreviations; standard locations and sizes; minimum and maximum requirements; selected proper installations; estimate of loads; and required services. The student solves practical problems in the layout and design of selected utilities for a single- or multi-family dwelling, a commercial location, and an industrial or a specialized location. Prerequisites: ACT 1161 and MATH 1730
