3 hours credit This course examines advanced theories and methods of stage lighting for all production types. An in-depth study of technical/ theoretical facts, the artistiddesign concept development, and the "teamwork" structure of theatre. Advanced work in stagelighting optics, instrument selection and application, color theory, circuiting and computerized control systems, special effects, and production design. Prerequisite: THTR-0160, Stage Lighting I.
