4 credit hours Students become familiar with respiratory tests used to identify a variety of lung problems. Methods to determine the severity of breathing and airway conditions are discussed. Respiratory care techniques to measure airway flow rates, lung volumes, blood gas values, and cardiopulmonary lab values are studied. Prerequisite: RSCR-0225, Cardiopulmonary Care & Diagnostics I or consent of instructor.
