2 hours credit This course is an introduction to the basic techniques and philosophies concerning the effective application of theatrical makeup. The objective of the course is to give the student a practical, working knowledge of the principles of highlighting, shadowing, and contouring the human face with makeup in a laboratory environment. Explorations into the basic techniques involved in working with crepe hair, and various three-dimensional processes shall also be undertaken as time permits.
