3 hours credit The interaction of the individual with the social and cultural environment is the focus of this course. A variety of topics, such as attitude formation, the influence of the group on the individual, and the like, are considered in relation to such continuing social problems as prejudice, aggression, social deviance, and conformity. This course provides an introduction to major concepts, theories, and research findings in social psychology. Prerequisite: Psychology, PSYC-0101.
