5 hours credit This is the second course of two sequential courses commonly required for the study of all the areas of physics. This course covers a study of electricity, magnetism, light, and concepts of modern physics. Mathematical analysis and understanding of fundamental concepts is emphasized. [The student must be concurrently enrolled in NASC-1232 - General Physics II Lab.] This is a general course and is not suggested for engineering students. General Physics II is offered in the Spring semester only. Prerequisite: General Physics I, NASC-0231 or consent of the instructor.
