5 hours credit A continuation of MATH-0122, Calculus and Analytic Geometry I, the course includes topics in transcendental functions and their derivatives, methods and applications of integration, infinite series, and conic sections. Students will be expected to use appropriate technology as one tool to achieve competency in Calculus and Analytic Geometry II. Prerequisite: Grade of "C" or higher in MATH-0122,Calculus and Analytic Geometry I. Mandatory placement for first time college students or first time math students is based on the ACCUPLACER Elementary Algebra test. The following scores determine placement in math courses: 0-30 MATH-0097 Math Essentials 31-70 71-99 100-I20 MATH-0099 Elementary Algebra MATH-0104 Intermediate Algebra Enrollment is open First-time college students who have taken the ACT or SAT within the last 24 months may be exempt from taking the placement evaluation in Math if their score is ACT 23/SAT 575 or higher in math.
