1 hour credit Honors Tutorial I is the first in a sequence of core courses required of Presidential Scholarship recipients and replaces their HUDV Learning Strategies requirement for graduation. This course is an opportunity for the student to acclimate to college life and the Honors Education Program. This course offers a cohort experience with the goal of creating a sense of community in which they practice self-directed, and collaborative learning, begin constructing an academic portfolio, and set academic and professional goals. Prerequisite: Admission to the Honors Education Program and permission of the Director of Honors Education Program.
