Special emphasis is given to the rejuvenation to state and local government in the past two decades. Students are made aware that Americans are relying for solution of domestic problems on state and community leadership. The role of government in state political economies and the influence of political ideology and political leaders are pointed out as very significant factors in every state and communities progress.
