4 credit hours This clinic/lab class is designed to develop clinical proficiencies in performing adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary care. Emphasis is on student learning and participation in critical care monitoring, cardiopulmonary laboratory techniques, airway management, and positive pressure ventilation. Students make rounds with respiratory care practitioners and physicians to develop critical thinking skills related to physical assessment and care plans.
