1 hour credit The intent of this course is to provide the student with initial exposure to the clinical setting as a physical therapist assistant and medical professional. This will entail a one-week fulltime clinical affiliation at a facility that is deemed appropriate. The course will also meet in the classroom setting to provide training in documentation, role delineation and professional conduct of the physical therapist assistant, communication and interpersonal relation skills. Clinical Experience I will prepare the students for a broad scope of situations that they will face in the clinical setting.
