3 hours credit This course is based on the University of Colorado College of Nursing "First Start" training program which provides trainingin the daily care of infants and toddlers with disabilities. Upon completion of this course students will receive a First Start Training Certificate. The course is designed for special education paraprofessionals, early childhood education majors, therapeutic recreation majors, and other individuals who must be prepared to address the special needs of infants and toddlers with disabilities. Students who have received credit in CHLD- 0120, CHLD-0121 and CHLD-0122 are not eligible to receive credit in CHLD-0123.
