4 hours credit This course is designed to instruct the student in the proper approach to commercial web page/site design. Students will learn the basics of web page design and basic web page/site construction. Students will also be introduced to the use of cascading style sheets, DHTML, and XML/XHTML. Different web design tools will be explained. Some of these tools will be covered in detail in following courses. Web job opportunities and current issues will be discussed. Prerequisites: CIST- 0137, HTML Web Page Development.
