3 hours credit JavaScript II continues with more advanced uses of JavaScript in Web Page Programming. Students will learn to use JavaScript with Dynamic HTML and use JavaScript with CSS Styles. Students will learn to set and read cookies and be introduced to security concerns with JavaScript. Server-side JavaScript Development with Netscape Live Wire and Microsoft Active Server Pages will be introduced. Students will receive an overview of connecting to databases with LiveWire and MS Active Server Pages. Finally, the use of JavaScript and Java in Web Development will be introduced. Prerequisite: CIST- 0152, JavaScript.
