3 hours credit This course covers the theory and practical application of modern managerial accounting techniques for manufacturing firms and other types of businesses. Topics will include tools that can be used by managers and others to determine how their businesses are performing and how this cost data may be used for decision making. The course is designed to satisfy both those students who desire a terminal course and those who need study preparatory to taking more advanced accounting courses. Prerequisites: Completion of Accounting I (BUSN-0101) and Accounting II (BUSN-0102) with a grade of C or better in each. Effective Spring 2005, if you are a Business major, you must have a "C" or better in all business courses to meet therequirements of the business degree program
