4 hours credit Participants will learn how to manage the hardware and software of a Microsoft 2003 Local Area Network, as well as how to set up users, directories and security. Login scripts and System Console, File Management, Sessions, Print Management and utilities will provide participants with the ability to efficiently implement the Microsoft Server Software. Student will demonstrate practical knowledge and will prepare for the Microsoft Certification Exam 70-290. Prerequisite: CIST-0117, Local Area Networking & CIST-0143, Computer Operating System: Windows XP).
