2 hours credit A presentation of information to help persons seeking to start their own Family Child Care Home Business or those currently operating a Family Child Care Home Business, become a successful entrepreneur at managing their own business. Information will be presented and skills will be learned to create a Parent/Provider Handbook and a Business Plan. Other topics included will be tax and insurance information, state regulations, marketing plan, financial plan, developing policies, communication skills, networking skills and addressing the needs of the children in your care.
