3 hours credit An introduction to the theory and practice of modern accounting for an individual proprietorship is emphasized in this course. The basic structure of accounting, the accounting cycle, notes, accruals, receivables, inventory, plant assets, accounting systems, controls, concepts, and principles are covered. A grade of C or better in Accounting I, BUSN-0101, is needed for advanced work in accounting. Prerequisite: None Effective Spring 2005, if you are a Business major, you must have a "C" or better in all business courses to meet the requirementsof the business degree program.
