Prerequisites: Approval of the railroad training director and the JCCC program assistant dean This course is an introduction to electronics with a review of basic electrical concepts. Instruction is provided on the operation and use of an oscilloscope, function generator, DC power supply, digital multi-meter and watt-meter. The course also includes an introduction to electronic devices, schematics, basic electronic formulas and programmable logic controllers. 1 hr. lecture, 1.5 hrs. lab/wk.
