Prerequisites: Admission to the JCCC railroad operations program, dispatcher option, and RRTD 122 with a grade of "C" or higher Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have observed actual dispatching operations and should be able to identify major responsibilities. Students will observe operations under the supervision of experienced dispatcher mentors in actual dispatching offices. 1 hr. lecture, minimum 15 hrs. on-the-job training/wk. Class currently held at Tarrant County Junior College, Ft. Worth, Texas.
