Prerequisites: Approval of the railroad training administrator and the JCCC program assistant dean This course contains information that will help experienced and inexperienced students understand the principles of quality concrete. The emphasis will be on allowing concrete to reach its highest level of durability through proper mix design, placing and finishing techniques, and curing methods. 1.5 hrs. lecture, 1 hr. lab/wk.
