Prerequisite: MUS 201 or placement by instructor This is a beginning-level course for the student with at least one semester of experience in the chamber ensemble performing format. Through written work and performance on the chosen instrument the student will learn the basic fundamental of this performing medium. Topics to be covered will include minor scales, chord construction and compound rhythms. 2 hrs./wk.
