This is an introduction to ballroom dance with emphasis on basic patterns and fundamental steps of the waltz, fox trot, swing, polka and cha-cha. Common rules of dance courtesy and a brief overview of ballroom dance history will be included. Music or dance background is not necessary. 2 hrs./wk. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $20 to $40.
