Prerequisite: HPER 167 Note: Beginning Japanese is a suggested prerequisite Students in this course will have the opportunity to achieve the advanced level of karate in the following: taiso (exercise), kata (forms), kumite (sport/free fighting) and self-defense application. 2 hrs./wk. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $20 to $30.
