Prerequisite: IT 200 This course is designed to provide students a fundamental understanding of network routing and the operation of routers. Topics include installing and configuring routers, OPSF and Link State routing protocols, working with metrics and route selection, and TCP/IP configuration. Programming and setup using Cisco routers will be conducted. Laboratory exercises will accompany lectures. 2 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. lab/wk.
