Prerequisites: KMRT 201, KMRT 202, and KMRT 203 General principles of management and organization as applied to health information settings. Budget development and control, personnel recruitment and retention, performance appraisal, and progressive discipline. Office design, productivity monitoring, work simplification, job analysis and job descriptions, and quality management. 2.5 hrs. lecture, 1 hr. lab/wk. Course taught at MCC-Penn Valley Community College.
