Prerequisite: FL 121 or two years of high school German By applying vocabulary and structures presented in the text and handouts and by applying knowledge gained in a systematic review of German, the successful student will be able to communicate in German in situations that typically arise while traveling in a German-speaking country. Placement test recommended. Go to the Testing Center or to the Language Resource Center. 2 hrs./wk.
