Prerequisite: KEOG 120 Addresses issues unique to GIS operation such as implementation issues, decision making procedures, strategies for success, legal issues, involvement of management, NCGIA Guidelines, marking within an organization, strategic planning and industry outlook. 3 hrs. lecture/wk. 1-3 credit hour course. A three credit hour internship is required for a student with no GIS experience and 1 hour for someone already employed in the GIS field.
