Prerequisites: Appropriate assessment test score or EAP 092 (EAP 103 and EAP 121) and EAP 107 or appropriate COMPASS ESL score Corequisite: EAP 122 This course, which is paired with EAP Reading and Vocabulary III, provides English as a Second Language students an integrated communicative experience at the intermediate level. As part of a Learning Community, students will focus on developing fluency in writing using American English at the paragraph and multi-paragraph level. The course includes study strategies and writing assignments related to the reading Learning Community component. This course is the third writing and grammar course in the sequence of courses for English for Academic Purposes. This course does not fulfill degree requirements. 3 hrs. lecture/wk.
