Prerequisites: Appropriate assessment test score or EAP 092 (EAP 111 and EAP 122) and EAP 107 This course provides English as a Second Language students the opportunity to enhance fluency in speaking, pronunciation, and listening at the upper intermediate level. Students apply standard American communication patterns to understand lectures, speak in academic settings, and communicate in group interactions. Informal and formal projects include oral reports in specific fields of study and academic debates. The course concludes with analysis of individual goals and assessments to enhance academic success. This course does not fulfill degree requirements. 3 hrs. lecture/wk.
