Prerequisite: FASH 123 Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to produce a first pattern and prepare it for production. This includes translating garment ideas from color sketches (croquis); continuing the design process through fabric selection and pattern drafting; figuring yardage, notions and wholesale cost; and constructing a finished garment. 6 hrs. lecture, lab/wk. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $100 to $300.
