Prerequisites: CET 211 and DRAF 222 and DRAF 250 and DRAF 252 This course examines industrial systems. Topics include interdisciplinary considerations of manufacturing processes, machine elements, electrical controls and structural design. Systems will include pumping systems or material handling systems. Team project/protocol will be used to develop graphic, ISO and ANSI-approved solutions. Job books and journals for a project are required from all students. This course is typically taught in the spring semester. 2 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. lab/wk. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $50 to $75.
