Prerequisite: selective admission approval This course provides skill instruction in skin care. Topics include sanitation, skin sciences, waxing, skin treatments, makeup and business practices. This course prepares the student for the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology esthetician examination. In-state tuition and fees $1,241 total. Out-of-state tuition and fees $5,271 total. Beginning summer 2009, the in-state tuition and fees will total $1,348, and the out-of-state fees and tuition will total $5,170. 650 contact hrs. For enrollment and tuition information, call 913-469-8500 ext. 2390. The credit reflected in this course is for transcript reporting, recording and transfer only. Enrollment in certain courses may require a professional liability fee of $16.00. Students will be notified via their JCCC student e-mail account if the fee is due and instructions on how to pay the fee.
