Prerequisite or corequisite: ELEC 130 This course studies hardware and software functions of telecommunication systems. Topics include both voice and data aspects of telecommunication systems, including terminology, interfaces, protocols, transmission media, networks and networking technologies. 2 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. lab/wk. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $10 TO 30.
