This course will introduce students to the Adobe Acrobat software program. Students will be presented with the basics of Adobe Acrobat and will be shown how to create and edit PDF files using Acrobat and Distiller. Topics will include how to gather Web page content for off-line viewing and how to use JavaScript inside a PDF document to make it interactive. Projects will include how to add navigation, multimedia elements and data forms to PDF files. 1 hr. lecture/wk. Associated Costs: In addition to the course tuition, fees, and textbooks, this course has additional expense considerations that are estimated to be $10 to $20.
