Prerequisite or corequisite: AUTO 125 Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to identify diesel engine components and parts and troubleshoot and service all external components with emphasis on glow plugs, injectors and injector pumps. The student will be required to provide ANSI Z87 safety glasses and may be expected to provide other basic hand tools and/or equipment. 1 hr. lecture, 3 hrs. lab/wk. This course is taught in the spring semester.
