This accomplishes the clinical experience in the hospital setting. The student will continue to apply concepts and perform basic nursing skills while caring for adult patients with medical-surgical conditions. The student will complete assignments to demonstrate application of concepts learned in the classroom. January class prerequisites: PN 1002, 1003, 1004, 1010, 1012, BIOL 1434 or 2214 and 2224. Co-requisites for Summer Semester: PN 2002, 2004.
