This course introduces basic concepts of personality development, common psychiatric disturbances, and emotional responses to specific situations. Concepts from Basic Nursing, Pharmacology, and Nutrition are integrated into the course as related to the care of the mentally ill. January class prerequisites: PN 1002, 1003, 1004, 1010, 1012, 2002, 2003, 2004, BIOL 1434 or 2214 and 2224. Co-requisites for Fall Semester: PN 2011, 2012, 2014, 2111.
